Fire is Bad!

Now, we all know that if we put our hand in a fire it's going to hurt. This is generally hinted at with the smoke and general heat coming from the area of the fire. So would you imagine this to be any different when playing a game? Personally I wouldn't!
When I'm playing a game, if somewhere I'm stood spontaneously combusts I tend to move. I feel that this is a built in survival instinct given to me the first time I touched something hot and this is carried into everything I do whether it is in real life or in a game. However some people do not seem to grasp the fact that if they stand in fire they are liable to get hurt!
The particular issue I am referring to, for people who don't know the game or haven't guessed from the image, is in World of Warcraft and an encounter with a huge Dragon called Sartharion. In this fight, every so often, big red circles appear on the floor and you have to move from these or you take a lot of damage. Also every 30ish seconds a Flame wall appears. This wall moves accross the area you have to stand and there are only a couple of areas you can stand so you are not hit by the wall. This may sound tricky but you get a big on screen warning 3 seconds before the wall appears and although there are only a few spots you can stand they are always in the same place.
How is it possible for the same people to get hit by this wall of fire every attempt!??
