Warcraft 3.1 – Ulduar and more!
So, i've been rather quiet on here recently and that's down to Warcraft. This week patch 3.1 was finally released, after farming our way through Naxx for months and months (mostly whilst sleeping) we've finally been given the new raid instance we were waiting for! Was it everything i've been waiting for? So far, I have to say yes!
Currently Bloodline stand at 2/14 bosses in Ulduar Heroic and not only have they been a challenge, they've also been really fun!
Flame Leviathan
Technically I don't think we experienced this fight as well as we should, we were all very eager to get into Ulduar and kill something. So we all dived into our vehicles and started shooting everything that came near us. When we finally got to the boss after killing all the watcher towers we started fighting. The boss focuses on the vehicles we were not expecting and all sense of composure and skill went out the window and we all just went into a zerg fest! (Shadet topping the dmg meters I should add, hehe) Eventually Genis regained his composure long enough to actually use the strat we had planned and we downed Levi on the first attempt.
I dislike, as do many others, the vehicle system in WoW currently, however, with a major over use of commas I fear, this fight was quite fun and a big improvement from P3 of Malygos. I'm quite looking forward to next reset to see if we can manage this fight properly and get some of the achievements associated with it!
Razorscale
Due to the horribly bugged state of Ignis on the live realm we went straight for Razorscale. Another excellent fun fight with a none to easy enrage timer. Having to protect the iron dwarfs whilst they repair the harpoons to bring down Razorscale is a nice touch! There's something to be said about fights where you coordinate well. We do of course leave ourself open to having to 'deal' with people who still haven't figured out how to move out of fire but after 5 or 6 attempts we mastered it and killed Razorscale. I even gave a little cheer!
Currently we are sat on about 4 attempts at killing Loot Reaver part 2, another difficult fight that needs people to move when they are a bomb [Think:Solarian] and then nuking a heart as fast as possible before clearing adds that heal him. Lots of movement, lots of jobs are gonna make this quite a tough fight for us but i'm looking forward to seeing him die tonight!
I expect we'll be seeing a few more warcraft posts on here in the coming days or weeks so keep your eyes peeled!

Nice. I used to play my Mage a lot. Been too busy for it lately though.
