Due to popular demand (Being a lot of emails and comments) I have decided to release the psd used for my background. The only thing I ask, if you use this on your own website please give us a link back somewhere in your blog! If you design a background and release it for anyone to use, again don't forget a link back to me and coment this post with a link to your image so I can some up some galleries on here of other backgrounds people have made!

Mis-Fest – Goth Festival, Blackpool, UK. 19th June 2009

In March 2006 DJ Grimly Fiendish started a night in Blackpool called Misery of Sound to bring whole new Genre's of music to the nightlife. There's plenty of Punk, Metal, Emo and other Alternative style night but what was missing was anywhere to go to listen to Goth, Horror Punk, Psychobilly and the other wide variety that gets played on a regular basis. In 2008 the regular Misery of Sound night expanded into a 2 day festival called Mis-Fest.

Mis-Fest 2008 featured a wide vareity of bands including Zombina and the Skeletones, Pink Hearse, UFX, Screaming Banshee Air Crew and many more. There's a few pictures below from the 2008 Saturday night lineup below.

If you like your Psychobilly, Goth, Horrorpunk or just want a really good Alternative night out then Mis-Fest will definitely be the festival to go to in 2009 because you won't see bands like these in one place at any other place!

New backgrounds for WordPress Pixeled Skin!

I personally think that the Pixeled Skin for WordPress is one (if not the) best skin available. However I have taken to changing some of the background images to make them a bit different. So I've also decided to release a selection of these backgrounds for all to use if they wish!

To use the backgrounds simply save them to the /wp-content/themes/pixeled/images/ folder as bgbody.jpg then enjoy your new fresh looking blog!

To save them just Right Click on the image and click "Save target as" and tada! Enjoy!

Any linkbacks you wish to put on your site are greatly appreciated but you are free to use the backgrounds as you like!
